Celebrating International Women’s Day: SXSW-Bound!

Happy International Women’s Day!

The significance of this worldwide celebration didn’t resonate with me much in the past. But today, every fiber of my being wants to shout this phrase from the rooftops. One year ago I launched Oh, Eleanora, and today was a resounding reminder of the power of female energy that has helped make this platform what it is today. The female network is a force to be reckoned with, and when it is used to support one another rather than to tear each other down, it is unstoppable and we all win.

In celebration and support of women, I am incredibly excited and so very honored to announce that I will be the headlining speaker at the Women in Digital Festival at SXSW next week! I will be speaking about the concept of sisterhood: how we can use our experiences with women in the workplace and the digital space to support one another rather than compete. I will be in the company of powerhouses from across the U.S. who are pioneering softwares, technologies, organizations and more. I cannot wait to soak in all of the magic that will be in the room on Monday March 12th. The event is sold out, but the waitlist has just been opened, and I hope that you can join us if you are in the area! For more details and to register, click HERE.

My sincerest thanks to WOAI’s San Antonio Living for inviting me on the show this morning for International Women’s Day to talk about Oh, Eleanora and the Women in Digital event at SXSW. Watch the video of Shelly’s and my segment below!

To all of the women in my life who have nurtured, mentored, befriended and supported me…thank you.
And to our Oh, Eleanora community: thank you for your love, support and readership. See you at SXSW!

Love from you sister,
