As Dolly Parton once sang, working 9 to 5, what a way to make a living. In preparation for a return to in-person meetings and collaboration with new colleagues next week, I have found myself pouring through Pinterest to plan outfits. This Spring feels hopeful and exciting with some new projects ramping up.
Throughout the past five years, I have cherished my creative alone time when I am in my home office, but after the past twelve months in isolation I am craving adventure and experiences again—I am finally feeling so ready to have places to go and people to see. As an attempt to justify spending hours curating a mood board of office looks and researching ways to add some flair to my 9 to 5 workwear, I’ve compiled images of inspiration to share with anyone who feels they might also need a sartorial refresh after spending a year in (mostly) sweats.
Here is the link to my Pinterest board for more looks and inspiration.
Beyond suiting ideas, the next bit of inspo that I’m on the hunt for is how to make wearing my masks très chic when I’m out and about. Olivia Palermo is my personal style icon—I just love the way she accessorizes her masks with silk scarves (bottom left). She wears them over her masks too. If anyone has found beautiful and functional masks that they have been wearing to the office lately (silk preferred), please share your suggestions below, or send me a message on Instagram @eleanoramorrison so we can chat about your finds!
Happy (and healthy) Spring,
